Also I don't use adobe products so I won't be missing any photoshop features. I don't work super big so hopefully that won't be much of a problem for me. I thought the lag on larger brushes was an issue with my laptop but it's good to know that its the program itself. Hopefully a sale happens before my trial runs out. Paint Tool SAI is a simple painting and editing software when compared with other similar software available in the market, making it easy to use. I'd say go for Clip Studio Paint, it goes on sale a lot and getting the full thing for 100 is actually pretty neato, but also do your research just incase. or you could buy the PRO version now and then upgrade to EX during the next sale. but aside from those issues, CSP is a solid program.Īlso as a tip: if possible, you could wait til CSP has a 50% off sale to get it even cheaper, as those happen pretty often (usually 4 times a year). also, if you're used to photoshop there could be some popular features missing like liquify and some filters. However, CSP does have some support problems such as: with brushes larger than 150 px it kinda lags, which can be a problem when you work on large canvases due to how the program is coded.
